Pedestrian fatally hit by driver on S Post Oak Rd in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — One person died Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle while running across a road in southwest Houston’s Willow Meadows area, reports Houston Chronicle.

Houston Police responded to the scene in the 10500 block of South Post Oak shortly after 8:09 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but officials indicated the driver remained after the crash and cooperated with officers.

An investigation was underway, but at this time police do not believe impairment contributed to the fatal incident.
