Pedestrian dies in fatal hit-and-run collision in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Chronicle reports that a pedestrian died in a fatal hit-and-run collision in west Houston Tuesday morning.
The unidentified victim was crossing Texas 6 near George Bush Park when he was hit by two passing vehicles around 3 a.m. The drivers involved fled the scene.
Investigators believe that the vehicles in question are a Toyota Highlander and a sedan of unknown make and model. Once the suspects are found, they will likely be charged with failing to stop and render aid.
