Pedestrian dies after being while attempting to cross the Gulf Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian died after being while attempting to cross the Gulf Freeway on foot on Sunday night, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Several people called to warn of a man attempting to cross the highway near West Mount Houston Road. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the man dead on the road. The driver involved did not remain at the scene and there were no witnesses.
Parts of the driver’s vehicle remained at the scenes and investigators are using them to help them locate the driver that fled the scene.
