Pedestrian dead in hit-and-run accident in Spring

SPRING, TX – One person is dead as the result of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Aldine Westfield Road early this morning, reports KPRC2.
The crash occurred at the 22700 block of Aldine Westfield Rd and was reported by the official Twitter account of Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman at 5:17 a.m.
The pedestrian was found dead at the scene of the crime.
There are no further details at this time, and an investigation remains underway.
Deputy Constables are on the scene of a hit and run auto pedestrian crash in the 22700 block of Aldine Westfield Rd. The pedestrian is deceased. All of Aldine Westfield Rd is closed at this time.
