Pasadena – Driver Killed in Head-on Collision on Allen Genoa

A fatal pedestrian collision resulted in the death of a teenager, Monday, February 3rd.
Initial reports show that the collision took place on Allen Genoa near Crenshaw Boulevard in Pasadena. An undescribed vehicle was traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it drifted into the opposing lanes and crashed head-on with another car. The first vehicle was sent to a nearby backyard as a result of the crash.
The teenage driver, an 18-year-old Pasadena resident, sustained serious injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Pasadena police did not release information about the driver of the second vehicle. No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
