Parker County – Kevin Ferreiro Died in DUI Collision on I-20

The 23-year-old man who succumbed to his injuries following a fatal rear-end collision on Interstate 20 has been identified by Parker County local officials, reports said.
Last Tuesday evening, DPS troopers received a call reporting a vehicle accident on Interstate 20 near Mineral Wells. According to the report, a 2019 Ford F-350 pickup truck was heading west on I-20 when it struck the back side of a 2018 Infinity. The impact prompted a chain-reaction which sent the Infinity into a 2016 Nissan. The Nissan then rear-ended a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban.
The driver of the Infinity, identified as Patricia Ferreiro, and another occupant, Kevin Lane Ferreiro, was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where they were listed in an unknown condition. Unfortunately, after a few days, Kevin succumbed to the injuries he sustained from the collision.
Meanwhile, the Nissan driver also sustained injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing.
