Paris – Driver, Passenger Killed after Two Vehicles Crashed on FM 905

A fatal head-on crash on Farm to Market Road 905 in Paris took the lives of two people last Tuesday.
In an unspecified time in the afternoon, Texas Department of Public Safety was dispatched to FM 905 to assist in a collision involving two vehicles. According to the initial investigation, a vehicle was heading south on the road when, for yet unknown reasons, it crossed the center line, traveled through the northbound lanes where it crashed into another vehicle head-on. The driver of the first vehicle, identified only as a 79-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased. Meanwhile, her passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a Plano hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Two occupants in the other vehicle were hurt. Their injuries were considered minor.
