Paris law enforcement officials have identified the woman who died in a deadly car accident involving two vehicles on Farm to Market Road 905 last week, Tuesday.
The fatality was identified as 79-year-old Beverly Moore. According to responding officers, Moore was driving along the southbound lanes of FM 905 when, for yet unknown reasons, it drifted towards the opposing lanes where it collided with another car that was traveling north. Moore reportedly died at the scene.
A passenger in Moore’s vehicle, whose identity has yet to be released by local authorities, was sent to a hospital in Plano for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he also succumbed to his injuries last Wednesday morning.
Two occupants in the second vehicle were hurt. Their injuries were considered to be minor.
Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability.
With sincerest sympathies, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. We strongly believe that the Paris Police Department will do everything to bring those responsible to justice.

In fact, in 2015 alone, the state recorded more than 1,300 deaths caused by reckless drivers. Despite the government’s aggressive efforts to keep these cases down, Texas remains the worst state in the country for alcohol-involved car crashes.
