Oversized load damages bridge on the Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – An oversized load damaged a bridge on the Southwest Freeway on the night of Thursday, February 25, per the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred at 100 US Southwest Freeway at the Gulf Freeway around 8:52 p.m. The exact details of the incident are unknown at this time, but an oversized load damaged a bridge, leading to heavy traffic in the area.

The police department advised drivers to find an alternate route.
