Orange – Scott Willis and Jessica Schurtz Hospitalized Following a Rollover Crash on Interstate 10

Monday morning, an auto crash on Interstate 10 sent two people to a hospital, according to a local news source.
The injured victims were identified as Scott Willis, 38, of Dickinson, and Jessica Schurtz, 31, of Palacias.
Police said Wills was driving a 2003 Ford Mustang along the westbound lane of Interstate 10 when he fall asleep and lost control of the vehicle. The Mustang crashed into a concrete barrier, hit the wall, and rolled over a number of times.
Willis was airlifted to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries while his passenger, Schurtz, was taken via ambulance to the same ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. Their condition remains unknown at this time.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
