Orange County – Wrong-Way Driver Aaron Wolfe Died in Crash on Interstate 10

Orange County police are still investigating a vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 10, Monday night.
At around 9:15 p.m., police noticed a 2019 Hyundai vehicle that was heading east along the westbound lane. As he drove through I-10 near Adams Bayou, it struck a concrete barrier leaving the vehicle in a total wreck. It then caught fire a few moments later. The driver was pronounced deceased, according to information from the Department of Public Safety. He was later identified as 40-year-old Aaron Wolfe. He is a resident of Beaumont.
No one else was injured.
Local police are still determining why Wolfe was driving on the wrong side of the highway.
