Orange County – Two Injured Following Vehicle Collision on SH 12

The Orange County Police Department is conducting an investigation about an auto collision on State Highway 12 near Farm to Market Road 1136.

According to initial reports, the incident took place at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of SH 12 and FM 1136. For yet undetermined reasons, a 2007 Toyota sport utility vehicle collided with a 2019 Kia. The impact seriously injured both drivers of the two vehicles involved. They were both rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities withheld the victims’ identification until their immediate family relatives were notified.

No one else was injured.

Law enforcement officials have yet to determine the cause of the crash and the driver who was at fault.

The crash remains under investigation.
