Orange County – 1 Hospitalized in Auto Crash on FM 1006

At least one person was sent to a hospital following a car accident on Farm to Market Road 1006 in Orange County, according to a local news source.
At around 5:30 a.m., a 2005 Honda was seen heading west on FM 1006 when it crashed into a 2000 Ford SUV. The impact left the driver of the Ford with serious injuries. He was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital where he was listed in unknown condition.
No one else was injured.
Based on the initial investigation, the Honda went out of control and drifted into the path of Ford’s, prompting a crash.
Orange County police officials were also requested at the scene to assist in the clearing. They have yet to determine why the Honda driver lost control of the vehicle.
