One person killed in single-vehicle crash in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in the Westchase area this morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
The accident occurred in the 2900 block of Wilcrest Drive before 8:25 a.m.
While the circumstances of the crash are not yet clear, a person claiming to be a witness stated that he observed the victim operating their vehicle in a reckless manner.
We have not yet been able to independently confirm the witness’ account.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
