One person hospitalized in fiery Southwest Fwy crash

HOUSTON, TX – One person was sent to the hospital early this morning after a fiery, multi-vehicle crash on the Southwest Freeway.
KPRC2 reports that the crash occurred just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest and Chimney Rock Road.
One person was hospitalized as a result of the collision. Their condition is currently unknown.
The crash involved three or four vehicles, one of which caught on fire.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident. We will continue to monitor this developing story and will provide more details as they emerge.
