One killed in single-vehicle wreck in northwest Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in northwest Harris County this evening, according to KHOU 11.
The driver was reportedly speeding and ran a stop sign, hitting a wall near the intersection of Cumberland Ridge Drive and the Grand Parkway.
The victim, the driver, was declared dead at the scene. A passenger reportedly fled from the scene on foot. Authorities believe the crash may have been related to speed-racing or a road-rage incident.
