One killed in hit-and-run on Ella Boulevard

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Ella Boulevard on July 4, according to a press release from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The unidentified victim was driving a black 2004 Ford Expedition near the 15300 block of Ella Boulevard when they were struck by the driver in a red or maroon Ford Expedition. After being hit, the black Ford Expedition struck a nearby tree. The driver was killed upon impact.
The suspect fled the scene. Authorities are now on the hunt to find them, and the investigation into the incident remains open.
