One killed in 18-wheeler crash on North Loop feeder road

HOUSTON, TEXAS – One person was killed in a crash involving an 18-wheeler that took place on a North Loop feeder road on the morning of Tuesday, May 26, according to KHOU 11.Â
Authorities say that 43-year-old Donald Carter was driving on a North Loop feeder road at around 4 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler.
Carter was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
Police believe that rainy weather conditions led Carter to lose control of his car.
