One hurt in road rage incident that sends car into Pasadena house

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A man was hospitalized Tuesday night after getting shot in a road rage incident and causing a car to crash into a Pasadena home, reports ABC13.

Pasadena police said the collision occurred near the intersection of Wilma Lois Avenue and Pasadena Boulevard shortly after 6:56 p.m.

According to authorities, the victim had gotten into a verbal argument with another man outside a store near Strawberry Road and Lafferty Road. As the men got into their separate vehicles, gunshots were fired.

The victim, who had been shot in the neck while, was driving a pickup truck when he collided with another car, causing the car to crash into a residence off Mulberry Lane.

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where the extent of his injuries remains undisclosed.

No other serious injuries were reported in the event, and no other details have been provided.

An investigation was underway.
