One hospitalized after rollover wreck off Gulf Fwy in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — At least one person was injured early Friday in a two-vehicle collision off the Gulf Freeway near Houston’s Gulfgate/Pine Valley area, reports FOX29.

The crash happened near the freeway’s intersection with Telephone Road at approximately 12:30 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the accident, but two SUVs were involved, and Houston Police said officers arrived to find one person trapped inside an SUV rolled onto its roof.

Firefighters worked to pull the victim from the wreck before transporting them to a nearby hospital. The severity of their condition was not disclosed.

Authorities did not say whether anyone else was hurt.
