One dead, three injured in suspected DUI crash on Gulf Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A man is facing charges following an accident overnight on the Gulf Freeway that killed one person and injured several others.
According to KHOU, the accident happened on the freeway near Bellfort Street at about midnight and involved a pickup truck and two sedans.
One person was killed in the collision, and three others were taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Their identities have not yet been made publicly available.
The driver of the pickup is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter, according to the report.
It is unclear at this time as to what led to the crash, which remains under investigation by authorities.
