One dead, one possibly injured in SW Houston car accident

HOUSTON, TX – A young person died in a car accident early this morning in southwest Houston, according to a report from Fox 26 Houston.
The accident happened at about 3:15 a.m. in the 8200 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South when the driver of a silver sedan lost control of the vehicle. The car crashed into multiple trees and ejected one person, believed to be a minor, from the vehicle.
The young male victim died at the scene.
The driver, also possibly a minor, was witnessed running from the scene with a limp.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
