Odessa – Woman Died in Truck Crash on Interstate 20

Odessa law enforcement officials have identified the woman who died in a rear-end crash on Interstate 20 last month, March 19th.
The fatality was identified as 39-Year-Old Amber Sahagun. She was a resident of Decatur, Texas.
At around 4:00 p.m., a Dodge truck was traveling along the westbound lanes of I-35 near Grant when it was rear-ended by a Jaguar behind it. Police said the Jaguar was struck by an 18-wheeler truck which failed to control its speed as it approaches slow-moving traffic. A passenger in the Jaguar sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was identified as Amber Sahagun. Meanwhile, the driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. He was not yet identified.
The driver of the truck was taken into custody for questioning. He was identified as Ranjit Singh, 42.
