Odessa law enforcement officials have identified the victim who died in a three-car accident on Interstate 20 last March 19th.

The fatality was identified as 39-Year-Old Amber Sahagun.

At around 4:00 p.m., police received a call reporting a crash on I-20 near Grant Avenue. A Dodge pickup truck was seen in the westbound lanes of the highway when it was struck by a Jaguar behind it. Police said an 18-wheeler truck failed to negotiate its speed and ending up crashing into the Jaguar which was then pushed into the back of the pickup truck. The Jaguar driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Meanwhile, his passenger, Amber Sahagun, was fatally injured and died at the scene.

No one else was injured.

The investigation is still in progress.
