Odessa – Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Car on Andrews Highway

Odessa law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about an auto vs pedestrian collision on Andrews Highway, a local news source report.

Based on the reports released by responding officers, the incident took place at the intersection of Orchard Drive. Police said a man was walking across the road when he was hit by a passing car that was traveling near Andrews Highway. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying in the middle of the roadway and seriously injured. He was immediately transported to the hospital for further medical attention. However, his condition has not yet been released pending notification of his next of kin.

Whether the driver remained at the scene or not remains unclear at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
