Odessa – Nathan Subia Dies in Major Crash on Andrews Hwy

Odessa Police have released the identification of the woman who died in a car accident on Andrews Highway near 100th Street, Saturday night.
The fatality was identified 21-year-old Nathan Subia. She was driving a GMC truck when the accident happened.
Police said that Subia was heading north on Andrews Highway in her truck when it collided with an eastbound vehicle. Based on a preliminary investigation, the second vehicle failed to stop at a red signal which prompted the crash.
The force of the impact left Subia with serious injuries. She was rushed to Medical Center Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the second vehicle, identified as 52-year-old John Hunt, was also transported to the same hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
