Odessa – Motorcyclist Robert Bradshaw III Struck by a Car on South Dixie Boulevard

A motorcycle rider was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on South Dixie Boulevard, Monday morning.
The victim was identified by the Odessa Police Department as 45-year-old Robert Lavernee Bradshaw III.
Based on a preliminary investigation, Bradshaw was operating a motorcycle along the southbound lanes of South Dixie Blvd near Clements Boulevard when he collided with a northbound Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 40-year-old Jose Zorrilla Jr. Police said that Zorrilla was making a left turn when the collision took place.
Bradshaw sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the driver of the Tahoe was not hurt.
The Odessa Police Department has yet to determine liability. No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
