Odessa – Man Killed in East Loop 338 Crash Identified

The Odessa Police Department has released the name of the victim who died in a two-car crash on East Loop 338 Last Tuesday has been identified.
The fatality was named as 52-year-old Laura Burris.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 4:39 p.m. on East Loop 338 near JBS Parkway. Burris was driving a vehicle and making a left turn towards the East Loop when it crashed into another car. The impact of the crash killed Burris at the scene. Police said she failed to yield to the second car. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening accident and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. He was later identified as 56-year-old Lloyd Webb.
No one else was injured. The investigation is still in progress.
