Odessa – 39-year-old Rodolfo Martinez Killed in Two-Car Accident on Moss Rd

The Odessa Police Department has identified the man who died in a fatal vehicle collision on Moss Road near Yukon Road, last Wednesday night.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 10:17 p.m. A Chevrolet Camaro was seen heading west on Yukon when a Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to overtake it, resulting in a collision. Police said that one of the vehicles reportedly overturned.
The driver of the Tahoe, identified as 39-year-old Rodolfo Martinez, sustained serious injuries from the force of the impact. He was immediately transported to Medical Center Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigators said that Martinez was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
While, the driver of the Camaro, an 18-year-old resident of Odessa, was also rushed to Medical Center Hospital for further care. His injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
An investigation is underway.
