Nolanville- Pedestrian collision on FM 439

One woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Farm to Market Road 439 and Quarry Road in Nolanville, Saturday night.
Just before 7:00 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety, along with Central Bell Fire and Rescue responded to the scene after receiving a call reporting a fatal accident. A 2016 Dodge passenger car was heading east on FM 439 when it struck a pedestrian walking across the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, the pedestrian walked into the path of the vehicle resulting in a collision.
DPS identified the victim as 32-year-old Mary Hutton from Shamrock. Both driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured from the impact.
No charges have been made as the investigation is underway.
