Nacogdoches – Steven Weaver Among Injured in Car Accident on State Highway 146

Polk County law enforcement officials have released the name of the victims injured in a major vehicle collision on State Highway 146, Monday afternoon.
The victims were identified as 54-year-old Steven Weaver, of Goodrich, 18-year-old Steven Dauzat, 60-year-old Teresa Weaver, and 18-year-old Mason Parker.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, Weaver was driving a 2013 Ford SUV along the southbound lanes of the highway when he collided with a 1995 Ford pickup truck driven by Dauzat. Police said that Dauzat was attempting to make a left turn onto Providence Road prior to the accident. Details surrounding the accident remains unclear at this time.
Weaver and his passenger, Teresa Weaver, were rushed to CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in Livingston where they received medical assistance. Meanwhile, Dauzat and his passenger, Mason Parker, were also transported to the same hospital.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
