Multi-vehicle crash blocks two lanes on IH-10 EB in east Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle accident involving a big rig was reported late Monday morning on the East Freeway near Houston’s Pleasantville Area, according to Houston Transtar.

The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes at McCarty Street, or U.S. Highway 90 Alternate. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 11:47 a.m.

Details are limited, but authorities said three vehicles were involved, including a tractor-trailer.

The crash left a right shoulder, right lane and center lane closed.

As of this writing, authorities have not released any information regarding the parties involved or any potential injuries.
