Multi-vehicle collision reported on IH-10 Katy EB near west Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck was reported late Wednesday morning on the Katy Freeway near west Houston, according to Houston Transtar.

The crash happened on the eastbound lanes at Bingle Road and Voss Road. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 11:47 a.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but up to five vehicles were impacted, including a heavy truck. The event left a right shoulder, right lane, and center lane blocked.

Shortly before 2:00 p.m., more than two hours later, the scene was reported cleared.

As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed any injuries in the event.
