Multi-vehicle collision closes two lanes on IH-69 SW near Stafford

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX — A multi-vehicle accident early Friday afternoon blocked two lanes and a shoulder on the Southwest Freeway near Stafford, according to Houston Transtar.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes of the freeway at Farm to Market Road 1092 (Wilcrest Drive/Murphy Road).

Few details have been reported, but five vehicles were involved, blocking a right shoulder, right lane, and center lane.

By 12:36 p.m., Houston Transtar indicated the scene had been cleared from the roadway.

No further information has been disclosed on any possible injuries.
