Multi-vehicle collision closes two lanes on IH-610 NB in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon blocked two center lanes and a right shoulder on West Loop North Freeway near Houston’s Memorial Park, according to Houston TranStar.

The crash occurred on the northbound freeway at Woodway Drive, near Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. It was verified by Houston TranStar shortly after 2:00 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but authorities indicated three vehicles were involved.

As of this writing, no further updates have been shared regarding the parties involved or any serious injuries.
