Multi-vehicle accident shuts down IH-69 NB near SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle collision early Monday morning closed all inbound lanes on the Southwest Freeway near Houston’s Sharpstown neighborhood, reports Click2Houston.

The crash happened at Beechnut Street, near Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, at about 4:20 a.m.

At this time, no details have been provided on the circumstances behind the event.

Commuters were asked to take alternate routes around the scene.
