Multi-vehicle accident reported on SH-288 NB near south Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle collision late Monday morning blocked a right shoulder on Texas State Highway 288 near south Houston’s Brunswick Meadows area, according to Houston TranStar.
The collision occurred on the northbound highway at Almeda-Genoa Road and was first detected shortly before noon.
No other details have been shared at this time, but authorities indicated three vehicles were involved.
By 12:17 p.m., more than an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
