Multi-vehicle accident closes two lanes on IH-45 SB in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle collision Wednesday morning blocked two lanes and shoulder on the North Freeway near Houston’s Hidden Valley area, according to Houston Transtar.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes (IH-45 North) at West Gulf Bank Road. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 10:54 a.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but authorities said three vehicles were involved.
Only the left lane and left shoulder were initially impacted, but by 11:06 a.m., the center lane had also been closed.
By 11:08 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
As of this writing, no updates on any possible injuries have been released.
