Motorcyclist killed in crash after driver runs red light in SW Spring

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A man died late Monday night after being struck by a driver while riding a motorcycle near southwest Spring, according to KHOU11.
The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said the fatal crash occurred at Louetta Road and Stuebner Airline Road, near Kleinwood Center, at around 11:30 p.m.
An early investigation shows a woman was driving an SUV eastbound on Louetta when she failed to stop at a red light and hit the motorcyclist in the intersection.
Authorities confirmed the rider was thrown off his bike and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the SUV cooperated with responding officers after the crash.
Any possible charges will be determined by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office pending an evaluation of the driver and further investigation.
