Motorcyclist killed in collision with SUV on SH-6 near SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A man died late Saturday night after his motorcycle collided with an SUV on State Highway 6 in southwest Houston, according to FOX26 Houston.
Authorities said the fatal crash happened on the southbound lanes shortly before midnight.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but authorities said the rider was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the SUV cooperated with officers and was determined to have not been impaired at the time of the wreck.
No further information has been disclosed at this time, as an investigation remains ongoing.
