Motorcyclist killed, another injured in crash on the Northwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist killed and another person was injured in a crash on the Northwest Freeway on Saturday afternoon, according to the officers at the Houston Police Department.
A black Ford F-250 was driving on the Northwest Freeway and proceeded to take the West Mount Houston Road exit. The Ford then made an unsafe lane change to turn into a business parking lot. A nearby Honda motorcycle struck the back of the truck and a Suzuki hit the backside of the vehicle.
The motorcyclist on the Honda was declared dead at the scene, while the man on the Suzuki was seriously injured. The driver of the Ford cooperated with authorities and remained at the scene.
Witnesses told authorities that the two motorcycles may have been racing at the time of the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
