Motorcyclist killed after suspected DWI crash in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries following a collision involving a suspected drunk driver in west Houston early Saturday morning.

According to a report by KTRK, the incident occurred on Highway 6 near the Westheimer Road intersection at about 2:30 a.m.

Police say the driver of a passenger vehicle attempted to make a U-turn and collided with the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved exhibited signs of intoxication. Charges are pending at this time.
