Motorcyclist injured in crash after pursuit with HPD

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash following a pursuit with the Houston Police Department on Thursday morning, according to the team at the Houston Chronicle.
The outlet reports that officers attempted to pull over the motorcyclist for speeding on Interstate 45. The suspect refused to stop and instead fled from the police. He eventually crashed near West Mount Houston Road and was arrested by officers.
The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
