Motorcyclist dies in crash on FM 1942

CROSBY, TX – A motorcyclist died in a crash on FM 1942 on Saturday, January 30, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The motorcyclist, Kevin Rock, was traveling near 815 FM 1942 when he lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into a nearby retention ditch. The victim was thrown from his motorcycle and immediately rushed to the hospital. He was declared dead shortly after.

Authorities believe speeding contributed to the accident. Rock was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
