Motorcyclist dies following collision with vehicle on the North Sam Houston Parkway

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle on the North Sam Houston Parkway today, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The HCSO reports that a woman, identified as Jenny Le, was driving a white 2017 Toyota RAV 4 near 15400 Hollister Street. The motorcyclist, Richard Cotter, was traveling on the North Sam Houston Parkway West service road.

The two vehicles collided at the intersection and Cotter was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. He died around 10 p.m.

The driver is cooperating with authorities.
