Motorcyclist dies after crash with SUV on FM 149 in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — A 63-year-old man died Monday afternoon after a motorcycle accident involving an SUV on Farm-to-Market Road 149 in south Montgomery, according to Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The fatal collision occurred on the northbound lanes of the road near Stone Creek Lane shortly after 1:30 p.m.

Authorities said the man was riding a Honda CBR1000RR northbound on the road when his bike struck a stopped Honda CRV SUV at the intersection. The SUV had been stopped behind a stopped Saab 93T sedan waiting to make a left turn onto Stone Creek.

Medics rushed the victim to Memorial Hermann Medical Center in The Woodlands, where he later died from his injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the incident, and no further information has been disclosed at this time.
