Motorcycle crash on North McCarty St. leaves 1 dead

HOUSTON, TX – A 32-year-old man was killed in an east Houston crash on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by HPD, the incident occurred as the driver of a black Yamaha motorcycle was heading northeast on McCarty Street, near Manitou Drive.
Police say the motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he slammed into a red Toyota Camry.
The man was rushed to LBJ General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. It is unclear if any one else was injured in the crash.
