Montgomery – Bus Accident on Sharp Road

At least two people were hospitalized after a major collision involving a school bus took place on Sharp Road, Monday afternoon.
Based on the preliminary report, the accident took place at around 4:00 p.m. at the 22600 block of Sharp Road. Details surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the incident involved a Montgomery school bus carrying 15 to 20 students. The collision prompted the Sharp Road to be closed for hours to give way for clearing and investigation.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found several occupants, including a child, with injuries that were considered not serious. At least two victims were transported to the nearest hospital where they received medical treatment. Five of the injured parties refused medical treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the accident.
