Montague County – Alvord Man Who Died in US 101 Crash Identified

The Wichita Falls Police Department has released the name of the man who died in a fatal vehicle accident on US 101, Thursday morning.
The fatality was identified as Brian Earl Love, 41 of Alvord.
According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on US 101 near just past Sunset. Love was traveling along the northbound lane of the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, he left the roadway onto the right shoulder. When he tried to overcorrect his pickup truck, it went sideways and traveled across the highway. The pickup truck then overturned a number of times and flung him out of it.
The impact of the crash killed its driver, Brian Earl Love, instantly. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are still investigating what caused Love to lose control of the car.
