Midland – Two-Car Crash on FM 307

A woman from Midland was killed after getting involved in a car accident on Farm to Market Road 307 in Midland County, Monday morning.

Just after 4:00 a.m., a Buick Enclave was seen traveling along the westbound lane of FM 307 when it struck the rear side of a Peterbuilt truck-tractor that was towing a semi-trailer. Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of the Buick was not able to stop on time which prompted that collision.

The driver of the Buick was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was only identified as 29-year-old Midland woman. The truck driver did not suffer from any injury. He was wearing a seat belt, as per responding officers.

No other details are available at this time.

The Midland Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
